  1. I use it for small spinnerbaits, beetle spins, small paddletails and such. just a great rod!
  2. The last time I spooled a reel just putting the line through a hole in the spool, I didn't realize my spool wasn't as full after a while fishing and re-tying. switched to a trap, and cast it off on the first cast. I still might have lost it with the line tied to the spool when the trap hit the end of the line, but I always remember that.
  3. 2 Gen 1 Revo Winches Daiwa Sol Daiwa Alphas Ito Pixy Airy Red
  4. You definitely won't regret it!
  5. It's a tie between my Pixy PX68L and my OG Steez for me.
  6. YUM Christie Craw in Black/Blue Flake Baby brush hog in GP or avocado RI Sweet Beaver Rage Craw in GP
  7. Jig T-rigged craw Senior (was supposed to read Senko, but to be honest, there is always a senior on the deck ready to go!) Lipless
  8. I've been wanting to try the Baitsanity Micro BFS Glide Gill, but either everyone is sold out. I picked up a Bucca Lil' Baby Bull Shad at Dick's the other day. 2.6 inch, 3/16 oz. How do these compare to the Baitsanity, if they do at all? I hope to try it out in the next week, but for now, I'm just wishin' I was fiahin'. Thanks, Dave
  9. Edge Rods has made their Golden Ticket available again. Buy the ticket for $200, and you can use it to buy ANY rod they make, from a $199 Delta (kind of defeats the purpose) to an $850 fly rod. You can supposedly buy as many tickets as you want. Of course, the caveat with Edge is the lead time, and they specifically state that in the email they sent. Said it could take anywhere from 1 to 9 months or more to get your rod. But if you've had your eye on something, and don't have to have it right away, it can be a really good deal. If you go to their web site and don't see it, search GOLDEN TICKET on the page and it will pop up. I think it's only supposed to be good today and tomorrow, or maybe yesterday and today.
  10. All Seaguar line is 20% off at Xtackle.
  11. Thanks! I've got a pair of these! I won't cost me anything but time to try, I'll give it a shot.
  12. Thanks for the input, everyone! I pplayed a little more, but I'm just going to write this off as suggested. Dave
  13. I dropped a spool onto a concrete floor tonight and bent the rim. Then I probably made it worse when i tried to fix it. Can spool rims be straightened properly, or should I just give up on it?
  14. Looks like some Tatsu in my future! Thanks! Thanks! Couple spools of Tatsu headed my way!
  15. If you don't want the SV braking on the 21 Zillion, you can always get another 34mm non- SV spool for it. Maybe from an old T3 1016, or TDZ. That Zillion is very versatile and will last for a long while.
  16. @MiceNReets, Any chance I can get you to PM me those Japanese auction sites you are using? I'm apparently not searching right. Thanks! Dave
  17. That reminds me of the famous Cleveland Browns quarterback jersey.😂
  18. I would absolutely buy a Daiwa SV103, TDZ or Pixy if the price was right. The ones I have perform as well FOR ME an my still rookie skills as my newer Zillions, Steez and Aldebaran. I'm always on the lookout for a left handed Airy Red Pixy, or the original green TD ITO TDZ.
  19. Yep, I do it. But I called it getting the stink off it.
  20. You could try to find an old school Bantam Curado 200/201B38. The 38 stands for 3.8:1 gear ratio. You should be able to find a decent one for under $100. Those old Curado "greenies" were built like tanks.
  21. I just posted this Millionaire Mini MM1000 last week in another thread.
  22. Thank you for the info. It's more than i had before! Dave
  23. That looks like an awesome day!!
  24. I picked these reels up at yard sales over the years. I'm having trouble finding much info on them. Most of what I find is ads for the auction site. I'm not really concerned with value, just curious about them in general. Daiwa Millionaire Mini MM1000 and Martin 62 fly reel. Any info folks can provide would be greatly appreciated!
