Decent Rod for flipping/pitching?

Featured Replies

I'm gonna be using a Daiwa tatula 7.3 to 1 with 20lb abrazX line for flipping and pitching. My question is can I get away with using a 7'3" No8 blackout in MH fast action? I like the *** because of the price point but curious if the rods gonna be too light? 3/8 oz will be most common texas rig/ jig I'll use.

If that isn't good what do you suggest?

Thanks for the help much appreciated

Anyone?

That rod should be just about perfect for pitching around 3/8oz baits.

I have a 7'3" Duckett MH Fast and it works great for pitching

i have 4, made all of em. mix blanks, 3 are 7-6 other one is 8foot  extra heavy use it for punching. being in florida we do a lot of flipping, pitching.

Great pitching rods I have 2 in 7'1".
