Do any of you guies know if you can use 15lb line on a senko.

I usualy use 8lb but my only lowprofile baitcast reel broke and I have a circular baitcast with 15lb.

I also have a spinning reel with 8lb.

Im using a 5-6 inch senko rigged wackey and I need your apinion!!!

You can fish a senko with any line you like.

I use senkos on my baitcaster w/ 14 and my spinning reel with 12...you can use it with anything you want within reason.

I've used em with 8lb fluorocarbon and 50lb braid and I don't really think line makes a big difference

I've caught fish that way with line up to 20lbs mono.  Normally I use 8lbs mono like you but the heavier the line you use the more it will mess up the action of the bait.  One way to get  around that is use flourocarbon.   Since flouro sinks it will not effect the action.

I fish 17lb Sufix for my senkos.
