This is what i have been hearing from the boys back home in NC. They've been fishing the Pea Hill Creek area and tearing up the bass, catfish and stripers. Anybody else been having good luck on Gaston lately? I plan on fishing it Friday or Saturday, maybe both, as I am heading to NC tomorrow night.

If you havent been fishing it, you might want to give it a try right now. Whether for bass only or multi-species. We usually fish for everything, and they've had fish breaking off 25lb mono, and i'm not sure what size braid...

well, weather kept us off the lake boatwise as my friends boat isnt that big and just didnt seem safe to take it out with rough water. went and bank fished a spot friday night and caught a few catfish on minnows. plan to return in august when i have a wedding to attend down there...
