Hi, new to the site and just wondering if anybody in the area knows of any good bass (large or smallmouth) ponds preferably or any other bodies of water to fish.  Me and a friend of mine have been trying to find places lately and most turn out to be junk and horribly kept. We usually just try to find bodies of water on Google maps and check them out, but doesn't seem to cut it sometimes.

Giving pond, across from Frenchtown in PA isn't bad, best if you have a boat. Another is Lake Towhee, but a boat is also best here. Just two off the top of my head, I live Perkasie, so they're a little south of you, but not too far. If I think of any more, I'll let you know. My suggestion is Google Earth, and don't be afraid to ask for permission. 

The phrases "good fishing" and "Lehigh Valley" really don't belong in the same sentence. But welcome to the forum anyway.

Look up Lake Thomas. It's very hard to fish because limited casting space but huge bass in there. Says private property but they don't mind lol
