Older 50hp Mercury

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone knew of a wbsite that could give me information about an older Mercury Outboard.  The motor is late 60's early 70's.  I can't seem to find a thing about this motor and neigh could the Mercury company.

This is a great website when it comes time to work on your motor.  Just find your way into the Mercury section and list the serial number as well as any problems you may be expirencing.

These are goods folks that have shown me the light more than once.

http://www.oldmercs.com/     This website is the end all for parts and info on old Mercury outboards. I have a 1968 Merc 500. It's a tough old beast that still gets up and goes every time out on the water. I might be able to help you out in figuring out the year and model etc. My email is living_the_dream66@yahoo.com
