Try fishing in the light rain .. it cools down a lot and the bass tend to get more active.

Yup, that's my routine here in good old Central Florida.  I've been on the Harris chain several times over the past week and didn't tear them up but got several fish each time in the 2-3 lb range.

Lol they don't have it that rough bud ! Their fish get huge. I'm in ohio so I know how the bass are in oh , mi , PA . And although they llive longer on average, They get no where near the size . Ive fished in South. Alabama mainly. The heat is rough. But I'd say well worth it. 

its been pretty hot here in arkansas, but i've been killing them on the river. the bass group up in areas with high current and more oxygen. try a river.
