I have an stx that while I am reeling and even touch the spool tension knob, not adjusting it or anything, just putting any  pressure on it at all it makes a rubbing noise and you can somewhat feel it in the reel. Was wondering if its fixable or what I did wrong so I do not do it again. Thanks.

I knew there was a reason I don't touch my reels.

Sounds like either the rubber O ring or a spacer is missing. Check it against a schematic or send it in and I'll look into it. 

OK I will take another look and if I can't figure it out I will send it somewhere
