Been going to a small creek lately. There's more cover at the end of the creek due to fallen tree's that they decided not to remove & the water's way calmer there. At the top part of the creek, water isn't so calm, but there's still cover. The bluegills love to hang out at the top part, but I haven't caught any bass there. Mainly some cats & whatnot. I tried the middle of the creek with no luck.. This is Lynn Creek in TX, btw. Seems like no one caught much fish except this one guy sitting near the top of the creek.  Was it just a bad fishing day, or are the bass simply not there?
