Hello, I have searched everywhere for help with this topic of mine. I apologise if this isn't in the correct place in the forums. I am in need of boat guide ons to put on my 12'-14' McClain jon boat trailer, to guide my 14' jon boat. The way my trailer is built there is no way to attach the premade guides onto the trailer because of how the trailer is built. I have provided a link to the trailer. I am looking for DIY guide ons and/or recommendations on what to get or to do. This is something I really need to find out because of recent events it is harder for me to put my boat on my trailer without guides.

I am in the same situation as you - I have a 14 ft jon boat that I needed guides for.  I held out for a while looking for a good DIY resolution, but I settled on these.  I have been very very pleased with the purchase. 

Are you looking to do sideboard type guides or the type listed above, the single pole on each side?
