Yes it can. Today I caught a 7lber on a frog in 90 degree weather.

Must be nice.

I do a lot of pond fishing and I'm sure the bass is in the grass during the day. sometimes the big females go to the middle bottom in the daytime.

That's a giant for my state. Keep at it throwing frogs etc. You live where the big ones lurk.
