Watching the bracket tournament and I can't quite get a good view, but I think Kreiger is using the minn kota Ultrex.

Yes, he was. Did not see a 360 attached to it though.

Did not look like he used the Spot Lock since he kept his foot on the pedal.

Didn't look like he'd ever fished a river before either, but that's a whole other story! LOL

 

KVD had a 360, but I doubt you can fit it to an Ultrex.

There is a 360 attachment for it being planned.

Is there a topic about river fishing?  I need some serious lessons..  I was our with waders for the first time yesterday and came to some calm deep pockets..  pockets were about 3-4 feet, over hanging trees mixed with downed trees TONS of bait fish and crayfish..  different areas were off a point and I got nothing..  I tried a grub on a jig head, T-rigged weedless worms, shallow crayfish cranks spinner spinner with a double tail Mr. Twister didn't even get a bite..  

I walked up to some of the spots where I thought for sure a fish would be after about 10-20 min of picking it apart and seen nothing move out..  I would have seen something had it been there as I was walking up stream and ahead of me was very shallow water I'm sure I would have see a fish dart past me or go into the shallows 

It's been a long dry stretch for me seems like all I'm catching is skunk, not pigs..  he'll I'd even take some of the tiny guys at this point..

I can share the only knowledge I have of rivers and fish. Look for moving water, it will hold more oxygen than calm water. Warm water has less oxygen so the running water will be mixing in more oxygen.
