12v Edge on 24v of Battery

Featured Replies

Am I crazy? I have my 45# edge running off of 12v now. It seems to have a lot more power. Or is it just a matter of me thinking that because it has twice the battery life and I am not noticing it run down over the course of a day?

I don't think thats true. I did a lot of reading about it. I guess we will see what some others have to say. They are wired in parallel so should still only be generating 12v of power. Hence why I was surprised it seemed to be more powerful.

As long as they are in parallel you will be fine.  I think you're thread title is what threw Wane off.

Yes, poor title for sure. They are in parallel & not in series.
