floating soft plastics

Featured Replies

wondering if anyone knows of any good SP worms or lizards that float.

Z man makes both.  Their products are super durable also.  You can literally use the same bait all day most of the time.

Zman as mentioned. Also pretty much anything that doesnt have salt injected into the plastic floats.

If you have a worm blower, you can make any soft plastic float.   Just a few bucks at BPS.

i havnt had much luck getting them to float with a wom blower the air just sems to squeeze right back out of them

Deep Creek Lures has some good floating worm and creature baits manufactured in NC.  I like their Razor Beetle, DC 4" worm and 6" Magic finesse worm.

If I remember right, "Trick worms" float

I remember an episode of Timmy Horton's show where he fished this worm weightless in bubble gum color and worked it near the surface on spinning gear popping and twitching and varying the retrieve. The action was amazing. The worm was bright enough that when the worm suddenly disappeared he set the hook.
