There's a good chance I'll be spending 3-5 days working at the Army Depot later this month.  Not yet sure if I will drive -- if so, I'll have gear and a yak.  If not, I'll at least have a rod/reel.  Any suggestions for local bank fishing and/or public launches for bass fishing in the area?
  I've never been to Anniston before. 

They mostly hunt over there, there are few holes to check out. There is a state reserve not far from there. I used to go over there twice a year working on the x-ray units. Ask around though, they are extremely nice guys ! Never had time to fish when I was there.
