Replacing Legs On a Hollow Body Frog

I have some leg material to replace the worn out legs on a hollow bodied frog of mine. I removed the old material. How do I put in the new material?

gotta thread it through somehow.  I have used a wire coat hanger with a hook on one end

A skirt making tool or even a small crochet hook will work.
