Live Target Goby

Featured Replies

Has anyone used this swim bait? I'm aware there is a paddle tail model, and a curly tail model, and would like to try them out, but I'd like a little feedback on them before pulling the trigger.

I can't speak for that particular bait, but unless you're pretty much dragging it on the bottom, it's not gonna imitate a goby very well. One of my friends observed gobies in his aquarium and unless they are actively persuing food, they lay on the bottom.   As soon as they stop swimming, they sink like a rock and lay there.

i was goonna purchase these this spring for a trip up to traverse bay.  they are farely heavy to help you keep them down on bottom.  i never got around to ordering them sincem y trip was canceled

If you want a goby swim bait go with Joe Balogs goby replica. They get to the bottom quick and seem to find the big girls. I haven't had any luck with the live target gobys.
