where can I bank fish

Featured Replies

Hey, I just moved to Georgia right outside of Stone Mountain State Park. I want to know where are some good spots to bank fish at and catch decent sizes. I have two little boys and I want them to have fun. I've been looking for a boat and trailer but in the mean time need a place or two. I've been inside Stone Mountain Park but only caught baby cats. Any ideas will be appreciated

I second that. Google maps is a great place to start, you will probably be surprised to see how much is out there. Find some spots that look promising and take a ride to look at them.

Also, search and ask questions in the southeast forum. Someone may have posted about a spot close to you.

I'm new to the area as well and just moved to Georgia about a month ago, and live within 12 miles of stone mountian state park. Send me a message if you want maybe we can bang the bank together some time.
