Why are they no longer an option?

The Annual Boom or Bust Lure thread - 2017 edition
Boom: swim jigs with Keitech swing impact as trailers. These have been a go to for me the past couple of years fishing them primarily in clearer water. Ned rig, this thing has been a smallie killer for me. High pressured clear lakes, and these things still produce. Whopper Plopper. This year was the first time I have tried them, and they are a lot of fun. River 2 sea Rover. Might just be my favorite walking bait. Bust: Chatter baits/bladed jigs. Usually good baits for me, I haven't had much success this year. Z-man soft plastics. They catch fish and last a long time, unless they get hot. I have caught probably 50 fish on a single TRD, and have the rest of the pack melt because they got too hot.

are you referring to the Daiwa Yamamoto Neko worms, or is there something else?

Prop baits
I have always been a fan of the Smithwick devils horse. You don't hear much about them anymore, but they still catch fish.

Where the Wacky Rig was Really Invented
I know when I was young we used the "wacky rig" because we didn't know any better lol. I remember my grandfather teaching me how to texas rig a worm and me thinking it was too much trouble. So, since I am from Pennsylvania it should be called the Pa rig, or the pensy rig, or since I am obviously the creator, the "Bret rig". I like the sound of that one.

Stupid mistake
So tonight I decided to do some laundry, when my wife came into the room asking why the house smelled so bad. It turns out I left a Spike-it marker in my pocket and it opened while in the washing machine. I am now running it through again, hoping to get the smell out. Has anyone else ever done this?

Tackle for Cheap
I buy a lot of stuff from the famous auction site. You can find great deals if you look around. It is a pretty good way to fill in any missing pieces, or in my case, just buy more stuff that i don't need.

Storing Fishing Gear in a Car?
i have kept soft plastics in my car, and for the most part didn't have too many problems. The big exception is with zman, they all melt together.

Jawbone sunfish
My DSG has a similar sale. $2 each when you buy 5 or more. I also applied my $10 off coupon, I purchased 10, so i ended up paying a dollar each. hard to beat that.

i Just bought 10 series 3 cranks @ $4EA. and got 10 free. Hard to beat the price. Most of the clearance stuff at my DSG is red tagged and on a clearance rack, but the Banshee lures had regular tags with a price ending in .97... At DSG look for any lures or terminal tackle with prices ending in .43 .47 .93 and .97.

How much unopened tackle do you have?
It would be really hard for me to put a dollar amount on it. I have several boxes full of new hard baits and several boxes full of unopened soft plastics. One box is just strike king series 5 and 5 xd crankbaits, probably 50 or more. Another is various rapalas. I also have a pretty good amount of new without package stuff.

Power, Finesse, or Both?

Tackle value
I think there is a lot of good advice here. You can always give an asking price, even if you think it might be a tad high and then add "OBO". I know that I am rarely going to give the asking price without a little negotiating. I don't sell much, but buy plenty on here, and while I don't "low ball", I am after a good deal. If you were to list a lot of cranks, say 10 of them and are asking 60% of retail. The buyer might only be interested in 5 of them and, while that isn't a bad deal, you might still have trouble moving them at your price. Obviously, supply and demand is a factor. As a buyer, I tend to buy items out of a want rather than need. That being the case, I look to spend about 40%. Just thought i would give some perspective from a buyers standpoint.

Yamamoto baits
Im a big fan of the shad shape worm, just deadly on smallies on the dropshot. I also love the Kut tail worm! i still haven't tried a fat senko, but i do really like the pro senko as well.
