I've seen their hardbaits at DSG, but didn't pick any up. I did buy a few of the frogs, they were BOGO so I figured what the heck. I've read a lot of negatives regarding durability, but they do look nice.

i can't say that I have caught most this way, but I have caught a lot like this. The first few times were accidental, just burning the bait back across the surface and bam, gets hit like a topwater bait.

I probably use more Zoom plastics than any other. Great price and they cover just about everything I need other than a senko style bait. I especially love the super fluke . The stick/ senko style Bait, I have always used A-baits trick sticks .

I have a field & stream shadow caster SOT. I prefer SOT because you can move around a lot more, put your legs in the water, sit side saddle, or even stand up which i love doing.

I love the Zoom Fat albert grub.. and at around $2 a pack at wallmart, they are hard to beat.

I have gotten an occasional top water bite. This spring I was killing them on a 4" senko. I wasn't targeting them at first but they were killing it. I like to use grubs on small jig heads and Yamamoto makes an Ika that is pretty small, not sure of the name but they seem to like it.

sounds to me like the would use old ships for landfill.

I am pretty sure that the high temps in the gulf will aid in the evaporation. Since I am not a chemist I don't know how much faster. One of my concerns is about the oil that does evaporate. What impact does it have when it gets into the atmosphere, and what happens if and when it comes down in the rain?
