  1. Prayers to his family. Great person and fisherman.
  2. Of course I haven't used any method yet, but to me, the frog hook looks best,
  3. I have used the Motor Mate for several years and completely satisfied with it. Quick and easy,
  4. Copperstate Tackle just got some in stock, ordered some this morning.
  5. I have so much confidence in a crankbait, that is what I catch them on 75% on the time. I have one crank that catches most of the fish, I have a bunch of colors but catch most of 2 colors. If I don't catch them the first hour, I will go to a worm. If you are losing that many cranks. You need a crankbait retriever I actually have 3. I am still using the same crankbait that I stated using in January!!! I might add that I am a shallow water fisherman.
  6. Caught these last week while the forum was down. Also had boat in the shop so I fished a pond on the golf course I work at.
  7. As John Denver would say, " Ain't it good to be back home again".
  8. Back in the "old" days, if you weren't throwing a purple/fire tail jelly worm, you weren't fishing!!!
  9. I use to use reels that were 5.2:1. The lowest I got now is 6.3:1. Don't feel the need for the slower speeds now.
  10. Take the blade off and use a drill!!! Some buzz baits you can't do that so proceed with caution.
  11. Berkley Frittside
  12. Just wondering why you don't hook it direct to the battery. Red to hot, black to ground with an inline fuse in between the red. you could hook it to the trolling motor battery or to your main boat battery.
  13. I use the Ego S1. It is a fixed length but I really don't think I have needed the extra length. You can get the net in different sizes and materials. They are a little pricey but well worth the money. If any part should break, Ego sells parts for your net. Also the handle matches my boat. 😁
  14. Mostly throw the Booyah Covert. Really like the finesse version. I still also throw the Hart spinnerbaits.
