  1. Caught these last week while the forum was down. Also had boat in the shop so I fished a pond on the golf course I work at.
  2. As John Denver would say, " Ain't it good to be back home again".
  3. Back in the "old" days, if you weren't throwing a purple/fire tail jelly worm, you weren't fishing!!!
  4. I use to use reels that were 5.2:1. The lowest I got now is 6.3:1. Don't feel the need for the slower speeds now.
  5. Take the blade off and use a drill!!! Some buzz baits you can't do that so proceed with caution.
  6. Berkley Frittside
  7. Just wondering why you don't hook it direct to the battery. Red to hot, black to ground with an inline fuse in between the red. you could hook it to the trolling motor battery or to your main boat battery.
  8. I use the Ego S1. It is a fixed length but I really don't think I have needed the extra length. You can get the net in different sizes and materials. They are a little pricey but well worth the money. If any part should break, Ego sells parts for your net. Also the handle matches my boat. 😁
  9. Mostly throw the Booyah Covert. Really like the finesse version. I still also throw the Hart spinnerbaits.
  10. Have the same ones on my boat!!! You will love them!!!
  11. I have a boat similar to yours. I have a Fulton 1600 lb winch on it. Works great but like most said, never hurts to go up. Check out the Fulton, they make great winches and jack stands.
  12. Hate to hear this, we really become attached to our pets!!!
  13. They have really got worse since covid. I think now that they are their worse. I have a package, according to tracking that has been in one city for 7 days. Don't know if I will ever get it.
  14. A crankbait and a worm. Most of the time it is a Frittside and a 5" Senko.
  15. I have been using the Fury 705 cb lately. I don't know about the other rods but the 705 cb is the best crankbait rod out there for the money. To me it is worth the $150, maybe more. It beat out my Daiwa Tatula Randy Howell rod and that is saying a lot.

Also got the accu cull scale. Seems OK, Had it for a couple of years. Also added the gripper.
  17. Everything is looking great!!! I know you mention it, but you will love that NOCO charger. I didn't think I needed one until I bought one. Don't know how I lived without it!!! Keep up the good work.
  18. Cavitron and Lunker Lure are my2 main buzzbaits both 1/2 oz and in white.
  19. The most expensive lure I have is the Berkley Frittside, then I wait until it goes on sale.
  20. My main 3 ramps are probably 10-12 minutes from the house. My ramp that is farthest away is 25 minutes.
  21. I really don't like to fish over 10mph wind. MY fishing hole is 33,000 acres of shallow water and it can get pretty rough!!!!
  22. Don't fish anywhere than my state and I get my license for free. There is some advantage to being 75yo.
  23. Had one on at least eight years. Got a new trolling motor and removed it from the old motor and put it back on with some 3m tape I ordered. Still no problem. You do not have to take it off to sharpen it, just the prop.
  24. First fish I caught yesterday. Water temp was 67* and the air was 80* . Great day to be on the water!!!
