  1. Sorry to hear that. Hope surgery turns out for the best.
  2. I hardly lose lures, when you fish shallow you can get most back, I do lose some to hitting rocks and breaking the bill off. I have a pole retriever that helps get snagged lures back.
  3. 98% boat, The only time I fish from the band is when I fish the ponds at the golf course.
  4. You are going to love the Dobyns. I have a Daiwa Tatula SV TW on mine.
  5. Prayers to you and your family.
  6. That's pretty cool!!! Had one back when they game out.
  7. Not a scuffer but I do add scent!!!
  8. As most of my baits, my color selection is very limited. I throw Green Pumpkin, Chart,/white and Red/Orange early in the year.
  9. I have fished the Z Man lineup since they come out, they catch fish, They are the cheapest to use because they last forever, as long as you don't hang up and have to break off. I also like that they stand up on the bottom., great for dead sticking. I am mainly use the TRD and the Finesse Worm in Junebug or Green Pumpkin.
  10. Junebug 5" Senko 1/8oz.
  11. Swindal is tough as nails, he has fished through a bunch of pain. Last I heard he is fishing,
  12. I lock the drag down on my bait casters, if big fish, push the thumbar and use my thumb as a drag. This is probably not the smartest but it works for me.
  13. I see 3 solutions, get a different hitch, or different jack, or different house. When I bought my last house, we had a hard time finding one because I wanted my boat in the garage. Nearly drove my wife crazy!!!
  14. I thinking throwing those big baits would wear me out at my age. All I throw is lightweight stuff, the biggest thing I throw is a 8" lizard. '
  15. Always been a fan of Hank, his most famous line, "put them on the scales Dewey". Glad you had a good time at the boat show!!!
  16. In my part of the world a Zoom 8" lizard in Junebug is the ticket. Throw it past the bed and worked slow, then slow down some more!!!
  17. I have nothing against keeping and eating bass, I fed my family fish when I had kids. The whole family loved it. I caught 90% from a 12 acre lake that needed small fish to be taken out. I never kept anything over 2 pounds, Now days I still kept some ever now and then but never over 3 pounds, my reservoir has a over 14 inch rule.
  18. They had a 20% sale January 25th last year. I went and looked at my orders.
  19. I think blue is one of those "sleeper" colors. I picked up some blue crankbaits last week, excited to try them out. Bill Dance once said you can use any color plastic worm as long as it is blue. Where did I put that Color-C-Lector?

Two problems as far as I am concerned, too big and too expensive. I buy a lot of baits but I will never spend $150 on 1 bait.
  21. Nobody but it was a close one!!! Great tournament!!!
  22. I have got a 17 foot aluminum bass boat with a 90 hp. Don't know what it weighs but I do have a micro power pole on it and I am very satisfied with it. I say go for it!!!
  23. WTG!!! That is some nice fish. Love it when a plan comes together!!!
  24. Can not tie it. Like others, I have watched video after video after video. Finally gave up and I will just stay with my Alberto knot. Really don't know why I wanted to tie it, the Alberto is easy and fast and works!!!
  25. NICE!!!! Bet you really going to enjoy it!!
