Rod for MET MGL

I just got a MET MGL that came today and now I need to find a rod for it. I need an all around rod, would a MF 7' be ideal or good balance with this reel? Currently I have a abu garica veritas micro guide MHF. Should I upgrade from this rod? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all

I just paired mine with a 7'2 Medium Poison Adrena that TW had on closeout during their last holiday sale. It balances and feels perfect together. It looks stellar as well.

Powell Max 3d 684c on sheltons clothing site for 100 would make a great all around rod and save you some money. I can throw anything except deep cranks with mine, and it's way nicer and more sensitive than the price suggests. Check out the review that tackle tour did on the old Max version. They threw everything from 1/4oz to a 2oz+ swimbait
