Fishing Partner

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I am in absolutely in love with fly fishing. I have been doing it all summer in PA, fishing for Rainbow Trout. Unfortunately the majority of the crowd in my age is not of this type, and I cannot seem to find a partner to go with. I am still very new to this, and mostly looking for someone who can teach me a little and show me good spots. I live in NYC, and commute sucks, but the opportunity to disconnect and go away from the madness in NYC is worth it.

Anyone planning on any trips that can possibly take me? I would have to work out work schedule, I work 7 days a week, but would love to take off and go away for a day.

Any leads?

I have been fishing prior to this summer with a conventional rod and spinners. I grew up in Russia, and fished a lot with my grandfather. So the spot it self is within me. Fly fishing I picked up this summer and loved it too. But it does not have to be fly fishing. Because I live in NYC, I do not have space to hold a boat, even though my grandfather in Russia had one. It was a blast.

Thank you for a response.

I live in Central PA and I fly fish for trout and bass fish as well, if you're ever in the area of the Little Juniata River or Spring Creek, let me know.
