New Daiwa Fuego Bait Cast Reel Question

Featured Replies

It's the same frame as the regular size Tatula minus the T-wing?

I think it is actually a souped up Exceler housing with lots more bearings. I own Excelers, Tatulas, Tatula Type Rs and one new Tatula CT.  I considered the Fuego but like the T wing enough that I went with the CT and now that I have them all I like the CT best.  That is the reel I will slowly change the rest of my reels over to.

I've come to appreciate the T-Wing also.  I have standard Tatula and CT and as of now have no preference of one or the other.

Is it made in Japan like the original one?

At that price range I'd go out on a limb and say , no.

It is a Tatula without the T-wing.  An Exceller is a better buy as it's the same functionally for like 1/2 the price.  Exceller MIGHT palm better for you.
