Hello all, I'm new here. I need some help. I'm thinking of buying a 10' pontoon boat to do some bass fishing in small lakes and ponds. I'm looking for any info on what size and type of Electric trolling motor I should buy for this boat. The boat is 10' in length, weighs 160 lbs and has a carrying capacity of 600 lbs. Thanks

I use the Minn-Kota 30lb thrust one in my 8' bass raider, I get by just fine with it. I would think the 36lb model would be better in the 10'.
