I just acquired a new combo!

Daiwa Zillion TWS 7.3:1

7'1" MH F (6+7) Fishing O M N

15 pound test seaguar invisx

Winn gripped rod handle

my plan is to use this setup for swim jigs, casting jigs, football jigs, wobble heads, spinnerbaits, and small swimbaits. Will this be good, and what else could i use it for?

I'd say you have a perfect multi purpose set up! It should work great for all those techniques. It would work well for chatterbaits and Texas rigs too. Have fun with it!

If I am looking at the correct rod, it specs for lures from 3/8 to 1 ounce. That is a terrific jig rod, texas rig,and carolina rig rod, It should throw all of your intended baits well.  Baits like the Berkley Powerbait and Storm Wild Eye Shads in 1/2 ounce, or a bait like a Reaction Innovation Skinny Dipper with the Picasso swim bait jig head in 3/8 and 1/2 ounce should work well and catch a bunch of bass.   Another bait it should work well with and you may want to add to your arsenal is a spoon for deeper water vertical jigging especially around deeper docks. We did some of that years ago on Lake Raystown and Lake Wallenpaupack.

Nice combo young man.  :teeth:  I don't remember if this is your first baitcaster, but Fat Ikas are a good lure to use while learning if it is.  They cast like bullets.

Google is your friend.  :toothy9:

EDIT:  Okay.  Guess I found another no-no place to link to.
