Awhile back I saw a book on how to make wooden lures. I had saved the name and author on my phone but lost it when my phone crashed. Was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. My other hobby is woodworking so I would like to make some of my own lures.

If only we had some sort of electronic device where you could type in something like "How to make wooden lures book" and have it give you the answers.  What a world that would be.  I suspect if we had something like that, it would give you DOZENS of answers and you could find specifically what you are looking for.

Why rely on a book when there are so many good sources on the internet?  YouTube has dozens of video primers on crankbait building.  A Brit named Paul Adams does some great ones but there are many others too.  If you want to get into the nitty gritty, peruse the member submitted tutorials of tackleunderground.com.  There are many paths to making a crankbait and that site explores them all in detail among its hundreds of members.  With new techniques and products popping up every year, any how-to book becomes outdated pretty fast.

Thanks Bob I'll check those out. But as far as why rely on a book I'm old fashioned and would much rather read a book then something on the internet .
