I would like to get your opinion on the best places on the lake to launch a small boat with good fishing 

nearby with pretty good wind protection. i am talking about a mid size aluminmun bass boat.

Don't know the lake good enough to make long runs or get caught in rough water. Would just like

to learn one small area with perhaps an nice marina close by.

I would suggest the ramp.  I tried to launch once up at the clubhouse & I ended up dropping my boat on a squirrel.

 

Another good location to launch from is that island out in the middle of the lake.  What you do is hire a helicopter to lift your truck & boat out to the island & then launch from the north shore.  Don't try to launch from the south shore, it too is infested by squirrels.

Not sure but I think he might have been asking about Toledo Bend.... Seeing how he is from Lousy-Anna and it's on the border with Tex-Ass and it's listed as his favoite lake... But I could be wrong...
