I have a 10ft bass hunter boat and a Lowrance X51. I want to mount the transducer to the trolling motor. Any ideas? I think I can use the pre-wire connection in the front to get power to the X51. I run the trolling motors with direct connects to the batteries so the pre-wire is available. If anybody has some comments, I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

I'm not sure I undertsand your question.  It should be very straight forward.  I would mount the transducer to the tm with the proper mount.  If you do not have one with the Lowrnave you can get one pretty easily.  The transducer wire goes to the unit and the other can be direct wired to the battery.  I suppose you could wire a plug to the power wire to use with the boat's pre-wire jacks, but I have always wired it directly to the battery.  I don't know if this helps or not.
