Bass Pro Shops Lure Selection

Featured Replies

Hey all

I got a $125 gift card to BPS gift card and wondering what favorite lures you would get. I am a bank fisherman so I am limited to where I can go. What deals have you seen around?

Thanks!

3 1/2 inch BPS Tender tube, 3/16 Oz tungsten and 1/0 Trokar tube hooks. That's where'd I'd start, can fish it anywhere that doesn't include mats. It will get bit.

How do you like to fish? And what kind of setups are you running?

Fish from bank near docks, and bridges

Mainly use a bait caster but soon looking to add a spinning combo

About 15lb mono because it is basic and I have tried braid and see no bonus to using it

If that were me I would put that $125 (essentially) free (to you) dollars and put it towards some spinnng equipment because you are looking to get one. When I get gift cards I usually put them towards something expensive I've wanted for a long time.

Ditto

Over time you can pick up bags plastic, a frog, crank, jerk, spinnerbait etc. You got a great start to buy equipment that will last a lot longer than any assortment of lures.
