Spinning Setup

Featured Replies

Here is what I am now looking at buying from Dick's Sporting Goods

  • 6'6" M Quantum Escalade Spinning rod (1/8-1/4) $49.99
  • Okuma Stratus V 25 Spinning (180/6) $39.99
  • TUF-Line 4orce Braid 100yds:20lb test (6lb mono equiv) $10.99

The order is over $100 and I have a 20 off 100 coupon. I also have a $25 gift card. So, for a little over $50, I can acquire a combo with a value of a little over $150.

Has anyone used these rods before?

fwiw.. I bought a StatusV25 and out of the package.. didn't feel right/smooth. Returned it for a Sahara.

I think I'm the only one on bass resource who has never spent more than 60 dollars on a spinning combo.
