Hi Tom, welcome aboard!

I'm sure there are some Coloradoans who will
chime in on your quest soon. Good luck!

If you can go on post on Fort Carson there are 2 lakes (that I know of) that you go to and catch sunfish and crappie. The bigger one has really nice size bluegill and pretty good crappie. Outside of that, Brush Hollow has some really nice crappie and bluegill in it on the shallow side. Lone Tree and the lakes around it are supposed to be fairly good for warm water species, but never tried them. Aurora Res has very good crappie and bluegill also, but is up by Denver. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. Will try Fort Carson as soon as it starts to warm-up. Not into ice fishing.

I watch the "homicide hunter Lt. Joe kenda" all the time and it's based out of Colorado springs . Have you seen it ?

There's a couple reasons I want to visit Colorado. Crappie isn't one of them. But I do wish you luck in your fishing

I watch homicide Hunter during cold winter days. I'm a fair weather fisherman. Need warm weather and a comfortable chair. When fish bite then the fun begins.
