CI4 VS 70

Folks

I just picked up 2 cI4's and love them.

I do need one more real and I am pondering the 70.

Reading everything possible on several board has show great bias in certain areas.

Everyone agrees that for flipping and pitching, the 70 has it's advantages.

What I am really wondering is does it out perform the cI4 in any other area.

The 3 reals will primarily be used for shallow to medium cranks, jigs and larger top water and swim baits.

Thanks gents

I have both but my Ci4 has upgraded bearings 70 is stock. The 70 matches very well next to my CI4 though I havent got a lot of hours on the 70 extremely pleased with its purchase. Let the Ci4s handle the larger line long distance casting of the top water and swim baits. Get a 70 for close quarter rigs even ned rigs.

I use my 70 for a lot of the purposes you listed, such as t-rigs, light jigs, topwaters, small keitechs and of course flipping and pitching. The line capacity isn't minimal, you can still cast extremely far and have plenty of line to spare.
