Anyone have this rod? I have the 766 but i feel its very technique specific and therefore not a good representation of what phenix offers but is high quality. 

 

Im looking for a jerkbait rod firstand foremost...but want something i can also toss 1/4oz spinnerbaits and swimjigs as well as neko rigs and finesse jigs.  Think this rod can do it all with an alpha sv105?

I had the 713 Recon 2 and it worked for what you're asking. 

the 683 series I seen on phenix's website is a 6'8 medium rod and your going to be using it for some pretty light techniques? maybe I'm reading something wrong but you may be over killing it a bit?

 

I have 2 M1's 1 for drop shots/neko rigs and 1 for shakey head/finesse paddle tail swimbaits and I am a huge fan of the phenix brand.

I think the jerkbait and top water will be perfect on the 683rod, but as for the neko rig you might want a 7'2 spinning rod in a medium/ medium light action. that's just my personal preference only
