February Topwater In WV

Needless to say, the little lake that is only accessible via hiking in with a kayak seems to be the land of milk and honey. These were two of 19 bass I caught.

Water temps ranged from 46 to 62 degrees. Very interesting things going on at this lake. No powerplant.

The popper doesn't shock me, but a buzzbait too? B)

We are having great weather....just wondering when the sleeping beast is gonna

dump a foot of snow on us! Congrats on a great trip! Love the buzzbait pic!

I wouldn't believe this if I didn't see it with my own eyes. I feel a "sick day" coming really soon. Congrats on the February feesh.

Good job. I was throwing a frog for a few minutes at some local ponds hoping to get a desperate hit. By Friday the water might be warm enough to get some attention.

I went out on small lake in eastern panhandle last weekend....temps were 40 degrees...no bites.

You must have a spring in the lake

So you caught a bass then shoved a buzz bait in its mouth for a picture?

My friend in central VA was catching them on a live target mouse in a pond this weekend!

I caught some in a small lake near Morgantown with normal cold water on Saturday. One on a 110, the rest on a 1/4oz lipless feathered through old pad stems and grass
