Hooks for wacky Senko?

Featured Replies

Its Friday night and I feel like stirring things up. I am on my 4th cup of coffee so here goes, lol. I know how we all have our favorite techniques and how we all seem to have different views on  how to use them. I as well as most have a lot of fun on Wacky Wormin a 5" Senko, for LB and SB as well. Here goes. I use a wide gap 2/0 Venom or Owner hook. I am sold on it. What do some of you other fisherman use and why?

Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap WEEDLESS hooks......a little on the pricey side but well worth it,especially if you're fishing around any type of cover.

I like the 2/0's the best.

owner mosquito hook, hands down!

i use eagle claw weedless 2/0....i just picked up some gammy's but havent tried them yet

i personally think 2/0 is the best & wide gap isnt really necessary

Gamakatsu split shot/drop shot hook, my favorite for these techniques and wacky rigging

ditto

I use the Daiichi bleeding bait Wacky rig hook. My reasoning

is pretty simple, that hook is made for that technique.
