  1. man, you trick out reels like some guys trick out cars...i like it are you ever afraid to use the reels because you dont want to scratch them or make them look (not new)??????

  5. i like them..ive had good sucess using them in heavy cover. my favorite jig is a manns stone jig,but the evolutions are right up there

  7. EXACTLY my question........im a hardcore st croix guy ,in part because they're american made. if rolands rods are made in china they should be cheaper than a lot of companies for just that reason
  8. i used to be a quantum guy but have not purchased any in about 6 years..i have a few of the old ex501 model baitcasters & i love them but i bought one of the response ti spinning reels & it was one of the worst reels i ever bought...since then i cant trust their quality anymore
  9. the bass o reno is a topwater type lure that you walk the dog or use a pop teqnique with.i have one but i usually go to a different type of topwater..that thing has been around for like 100 years so theres gotta be somethng to it.

  19. a friend of mine did this last summer......it was a bad idea just for the fact of the torture to the poor thing..... the problem is,they tire very quickly & then drown..they dont swim all over like you would think..........
  20. im right handed but reel with my left too.......there are a lot of reels that id like to consider, but their not available in lefty so i stick with a few favorites
  21. i reccommend BOMBER cranks too....ive tried bandits & there o.k,but bombers are much more affective for me.. the rapala dt-4 are my favorite but their not cheap

  24. in my opinion...YES theyre better.... hey josh,are you looking at the price tag on the rod???? my local dicks had them on clearance & the morons they have working there didnt even know it...i found out on this forum & when i went in the store the guy said"st croix are never on sale"so,i had him scan one with his scanner & sure enough ,they rang up for $89 even though the price tag was $159 do yourself a favor & have it scanned..id bet they're clearance price
  25. my local dicks had them for $89, & if you use the $10 coupon you get in the circular or at the store , your getting a steal....
