For those of you that get mad that you can't continue to wear your glasses when the clouds come out, I have a pair of Smith glasses for overcast days in the Polarchromic Lens. Its a photochromic version of the Chromapop so gets lighter as the sky gets darker. They also work awesome if you trout fish in heavily wooded streams so you can still see fish and where you are wading. As much as I love my glass lensed Maui Jims for bright days, I end up wearing these most of the time for how bright they make things in not perfect conditions.

There is definitely a difference when you go with a brand like Costa.  You have to match the lens to the waters you fish and that is what makes them better than just a polarized lens.  I have the green mirror for inshore bass fishing and the blue mirror for the ocean.  If you're going to spend the money make sure you buy the correct lenses.

They basically match the lens to the waters you fish for optimum clarity.  Some of the lenses are for specific types of light that you fish in but those are for pros who switch out glasses for the time of day.  If you stick with the type of water you fish, that's good enough for most.  

 

Like I posted before, I wear the green mirror for inshore fishing and the blue mirror on the ocean.  The difference is amazing.

I broke down and finally bought a pair of Costas with glass lenses and I can see underwater structures much better and from a further distance than less expensive glasses I use to wear which imho helps me work the lure better cause I can see better what I'm doing which in turn helps me catch more fish and it's alot easier on my eyes which can cause fatigue on the water.
