Single person boats?

Featured Replies

As I've said in the past I'm a bank fisherman for now. I'm thinking about getting something small for myself. I just have this urge to get into a little deeper water. (deeper than 4-6')

I saw this on Craigslist and thought it might be worth it for me.

Does anyone know the make or have any comments on plastic boats.

I really need something that will fit in a SUV and light enough I can launch it with little to no help.

I also really want to add a TM and have room for my gear.

Does this thing have a solid bottom? Is it stable for a bigger guy? 200+ lbs

Thanks all,

Vince

looks pretty good to me, ive seen 2 larger guys fishing on those little plastic boats they seem to do fine and for 100 bucks you cant go wrong if thats all you deisre to get out on the water, i never actually knew they made 1 person ones i might actually look into gettin one for myself, dont worry i wont steel your boat ill find my own hehe

Ive got the 2 man boat version, and I love them.  They are stable enough to stand up and take a leak out of, carefully.  I have a trolling motor on mine and it allows me to cruise around ponds without paddling and making much noise.  I do not normally stand in them but they are stable as far as fighting a fish, much more so than a canoe.  I also have space in mine and have set it up with things like rod holders, an anchor, and other miscellaeous items.  I will try to take pics tonight and post them to give you an idea.

Thanks man...that would be great!

I've seen them at Cabela's but I didn't pay much attention to them.

I'm emailing this guy to see if it's still avail and see if it fits in my vehicle.

Mine is a 10 footer and fits in my truck fine, I think the width is around 46 inches or something and it fits SNUG in my 00 Ranger with the stepside bed, so my bed is narrower than a normal bed.  I think it would fit otherwise strap it on top.

Here are the pics from when I bought it before I accessorized.
