Im going in a few hours to pickup one of these linked below and see that some in the same size have a mod/fast action and some have different lure weights in the same size. I need some advise on which to get. I will be mostly bank fishing large farm lakes, rivers, etc. throwing worms, some small crank baits, etc.

Get the 6935 reel and the 7 ft Medium rod.

That should do you just fine.
