SW Washington Kayak Bass

Featured Replies

I just outfitted my new Pelican Catch 120 fishing kayak, troll motor, pole holders etc., and I'm getting ready to hit the lates in April. Anyone in the Clark County area into Kayak fishing? Would love to team up and do some fishing. I primarily fish, Horseshoe right now for Bass but that is more out of ignorance re: options. Any other ponds/lakes to try locally?

Also interested in any guidance on when in April I should anticipate the pre-spawn. I've caught 6 lb plus bass in Klineline pond as well as Horseshoe over the years so I know they are there. Just curious about timing. I typically try tubes and pig-n-gig in early spring with luck but wonder if I should try something else? I appreciate any feedback.

Does anyone exist out there in Clark County that Bass fishes? Regardless of whether you are Kayak fisher or not? Would love to find like minded fishermen and collaborate
