  1. Tom, would you use PM and spinnerbaits this early in the year or some other method?
  2. Does anyone exist out there in Clark County that Bass fishes? Regardless of whether you are Kayak fisher or not? Would love to find like minded fishermen and collaborate
  3. I just outfitted my new Pelican Catch 120 fishing kayak, troll motor, pole holders etc., and I'm getting ready to hit the lates in April. Anyone in the Clark County area into Kayak fishing? Would love to team up and do some fishing. I primarily fish, Horseshoe right now for Bass but that is more out of ignorance re: options. Any other ponds/lakes to try locally? Also interested in any guidance on when in April I should anticipate the pre-spawn. I've caught 6 lb plus bass in Klineline pond as well as Horseshoe over the years so I know they are there. Just curious about timing. I typically try tubes and pig-n-gig in early spring with luck but wonder if I should try something else? I appreciate any feedback.
  4. I have had great luck fishing in SW Washington over the years but have gone a bit "cold" over the last few years due to lack of fishing time. Several 6+ Lb LMB's. Anyone in Clark Count that actively fishes for bass? I have an awesome Fishing Kayak that I use. Would love to team up some time with someone who has a Kayak or even go out in my boat. I am also interested in understanding when pre-spawn is and what temperatures here in the Clark County area are for pre-spawn, spawn etc. that what works best. My best has been with Pig-Jig, tubes etc for pre-spawn but not sure if that's just luck.
  5. Ahh, Of course. I should have known that! Thanks for letting me know!
  6. I've fished Horseshoe on and off over the years with some success but very inconcsistent. Anyone fish it regulary? I know I have hooked into some HUGE fish but have landed only 2-3 lbers. Would love to share thoughts and ideas as to what, when, where and how. BTW picked up two 6 Plus punders out of Klineline Pond last year early spring with Pig-n-Jig. Is this a common western washington lure and "what time of year is it best used"?
  7. So what Lopez are you referring to? I'm thinking Lopez Island in the San Juans but I've not seen Bass like that come out of the one lake (Hummel) on the island.
