School Project

Featured Replies

So, the lure making project went great. I originally bought 34 lures with the intention of each of the 21 kids just painting one, but they got into it and asked if they could do the rest. How could I say no. I've included some pictures of their work below. Was awesome to see kids who'd never even held a rod so excited about something fishing related. Thanks again to everyone that helped me out when I was looking for ways to finish them quickly.

Nice work ~

And if they don't somehow manage to fire up the school of bass they should make lovely Christmas Tree Ornaments.

Great project!  What was your final decision for painting/coating the lures?

Used acrylics to paint them and finished them with nail polish. I did one of my own as a test. Hopefully going to get q chance to fish it today. I'll see how it holds up.
