senko style wacky rig

Featured Replies

I just looked through the sticky posted at the top of the page about Senko stlye baits and I didnt see what I was looking for..... Does anyone have any pictures of their wacky rigged "senkos"? I have yet to try this method and I need a visual so I can give this a shot. Thanks

Also how are the o-rings and tubing used in this method that I have read about.  I guess I just dont get it without seeing it.

I did not want to waste my GYCB to show a picture so I drew a quick one in paint. This is what it should look like.

I use a 1/0or 2/0 offset red worm hook works fine for me, and if you want to switch to a worm you can.

I used to use a regular 2/0 worm hook for wacky rigging, I would get hung up a lot and many times the senko would go flying off the hook on a cast. But I have now switched to the "K" wacky hook made by falcon lures, its almost like an octopus hook with a wire weedguard, and they have worked wonders for me.

I use the rubber Orings for my mine.  Then a weedless style hook in 1/0 - 3/0.  You'll find the worms last longer than one per fish.
