I recently acquired a KVD Tour Crankbait Rod 7'10 medium heavy rod. What gear ratio reel and what kind of line would you guys put on this? And what other potential uses are there for this rods?

    12-15 lb. Rippin' Mono or Tatsu Fluoro.  Any reel that is around 25 IPT would be fine.
