Crankbaits?

Featured Replies

Looking to add a new reel to my arsenal. I like the Orra Winch. Looks good. What line should i use? Mostly for cranks down to 12'. Would invisx 12 lb work? I also have 10 lb mono on a zillion with the 7'1" m mod that it will go on, but the gear ratio is too fast.

I prefer fluoro, I would go with 10 or 12 pound InvisX or Gamma if you can afford it.

Right now I am using 6:1 with 8 lb tatsu

truth Th be told, 10 lb 832 gets down faster !

I'm a big believer in InvizX and it will work for your desired purpose.

This year I'm going to try something different though. I'm going to be using braid mainline and running a fluro lead for my spinner/crank bait presentations.  I'll have to see how it works for me but I like the thin diameter of braid which should help with lure action some while the fluro will give the bait a more natural presentation.

I hope anyways...lol
