Curado 200i spool problems

Featured Replies

I just got a shimano curado 200i and I'm having a problem with the spool.  I got a bad backlash and had to take the spool out to get it out. When I put the spool back it in there was a grinding noise when I casted and reeled. I don't know if it's the pinion hear, spool, side plate or something else.  I think I bent the spool but I could be wrong and extra spools are $40 can anyone help me figure this out.

I have a curado and once my reel made a grinding sound and it was the spool. Basically clean the crap out of it.. Clean the shafts and put a small drop of oil on them. Clean the bearing on the palm side of the reel and oil it even clean the outer part of the spool.. Tell me how it goes
