Crankbait fishing in the Suffolk Virginia Lakes

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is the right thread to be posting in but I'm curious. I fish a lot of the suffolk lakes and I'm curious as to what squarebill that people from around here have success on. Cranking is my favorite thing to do and I would love some tips! Thanks!

I do well on the old Lucky Craft Rick Clunn Square Bills.  I know the shallower Rapala DT series work well as well.  Now that Summer is setting in, you should try out Deep Cranking Strike King 5XD's and 6XD's

Thanks! I picked up some of the Luck E Strike Rick Clunn squarebills during the memorial day sale but yet to try them. I'm pretty sure they are just cheaper versions of the Lucky Craft
